AS restrictions on gatherings continue, a University of West London professor brought almost 100 members of Ealing’s U3A together online to discuss youth justice through the ages.

William ‘Lez’ Henry led the online webinar for members of the University of the Third Age social group.

The Professor of Criminology and Sociology explored the evolution and history of crime and youth violence before leading a discussion on the influence of the media on perceptions of offending.

He said: “Despite lockdown restrictions, it is important we all continue to connect and engage. To see so much enthusiasm for learning and debate with members of the U3A was very special and very rewarding.”
