TWO Ealing schools, St Augustine’s Priory and the Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls, are linking this week with Sacred Heart High School in Hammersmith for a series of innovative virtual activities.
They are centred on the process of applying to university through UCAS, the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service.
The idea came from St Augustine’s, the Catholic independent school for girls, which wanted to share ideas.
Aimed at those in Year 12, the week will give girls an introduction to higher education, how to choose universities and courses and life on campus.
Taster lectures will help students make informed decisions about their next steps, with speakers from Oxford and the University of Hertfordshire.
Normally, students are able to see for themselves, but this year it involves remote visits via Zoom.
