VISITORS have increased significantly at Gunnersbury Park since the easing of lockdown restrictions, with people arriving on foot or by cycle.
The car park remains closed, but park authorities say they will continue to monitor the number of visitors and patterns of use, with a view to reopening it as soon as possible.
The museum, café, playgrounds, tennis courts and toilets are also shut.
Work continues on completing the new sports centre and laying new sports pitches, which requires construction vehicles moving around the park.
