IS this a glimpse of the ‘new normal’ in our lives? Probably not, but it gave a lift to people living on the Racecourse Estate in Northolt.

Elvis impersonator Jason Cole, 47, entertained the neighbours with a selection of classics from the king of rock ‘n’ roll – and raised £690 for NHS charities in the process.

Jason has been performing as an Elvis tribute artist for 18 years, entertaining people at venues around the country, including restaurants and care homes.

This time, he went through his repertoire for the neighbours, to help bring the community together and to raise funds for front-line staff.

He and wife Lisa have six children together but 12 in total between them. They celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last month.

Lisa said: “A lot of people came out, dancing in the street, telling us it was moving to see the community come together.”

It certainly beats staying in to watch the TV!
