A HEATHROW security manager is devoting his spare time to providing thousands of meals for hospitals, shelters and vulnerable people.
Jaz Gill, a security operations manager who lives in Southall, runs the charity InspiredByHope.
The charity is helping to prepare 4,000 meals a day for delivery to hospitals, shelters and family homes. It aims to ensure no-one goes a day without a meal.
InspiredByHope, working with other like-minded charities, is also supporting pharmacies by dropping off medication.
Also at Heathrow, Noise Performance Manager Jakub Hajko’s typical day involves assisting airlines with quieter flying.
He has now joined a group of more than 4,500 volunteers with access to 3D printers, who are printing face shields that could be used to protect an NHS worker.
If you have a 3D printer and would like to get involved, find out more at www.3dcrowd.uk
