A family-owned care organisation is reaching out to those feeling lonely during the coronavirus lockdown.
KASE Care, based in Loughton, is launching a phoneline service to help those, especially the elderly, struggling with isolation.
The domiciliary care agency hopes the phoneline – KASE Care Knows It’s Good to Talk – will help people in the Loughton, Essex and London area deal with the mental pressures of Covid-19.
Whether people need advice on home care or just want a chat, the phoneline is there for them, providing companionship and conversation.

KASE Care’s director Sandeep Gakhal, a serving police office, said: “As a team of home care professionals, we understand how important regular communication is in improving the mental health of people who may be isolated from their families.
“A recent government report illustrated that up to 18 per cent of the UK population suffer from loneliness. We want to help address this, especially in this challenging period.
“Our values as individuals and as an organisation are centred around respect and compassion - which is why we want to play our part with the KASE Care Knows It’s Good to Talk initiative, helping our community through this difficult time.
“Our dedicated Good to Talk phone number will be on: 0800 799 9057.”
