EASTER’S just around the corner and there are chocolates to get out to stockists.
The parcels driver, calling at Uxbridge firm PLAYin CHOC, should not have been too surprised to see the boss in the thick of the action.
With a reduced staff, due to the Coronavirus, managing director Dominic Simler was on duty when the driver called into Trade City business park in Cowley Mill Road and found PLAYin CHOC one of the few companies still open.
The family-run firm, which supplies organic chocolate complete with an easy-assembly toy for children, is processing orders for 3,000 stockists in this country and abroad.
PLAYin CHOC has donated 10,000 chocolates to NHS staff and 2,000 to teachers during the current crisis.
