A council-led 'dragons' den-style' competition has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Harrow Council announced that the final of this year's Harrow Business Den will no longer take place tomorrow (March 18).
The event was scheduled to take place at Harrow Civic Centre but has been put on hold following government advice around dealing with coronavirus.
Four entrepreneurs had been gearing up to battle it out - Aunty Ji App, a directory for semi-professional Londoners, Handisure, a door finger-guard that protects children’s fingers, Salon Hijab Academy, which teaches hair, beauty and make-up courses, and Eastman Technology Solutions, a software platform that generates short animation videos.
The winners of the competition will receive a year’s worth of business support, which could be in the form of training, materials, free space or a cash sum.
Previous winners include a dessert delivery service and a bin cleaning company.
Further information about the event and any reschedule will be publicised when available.
