THREE people in Southall are celebrating today after winning £1,000 each, thanks to their lucky postcode.
The Spikes Bridge Road neighbours netted the windfall when UB1 2AS was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery.
Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt, pictured, said: “What a great surprise to get on a Monday morning! Congratulations to our winners.”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities. Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500m to date for thousands of good causes.
This draw was promoted by Maggie’s, which has received more than £16.1m in funding from the Lottery. Maggie’s runs a network of cancer support centres across the country.
