Two's company for these guinea pigs.
Apple and Pie
Hello, my name is Apple and this my brother Pie. We’re seven-month-old boys looking for a home together. We’ve just arrived at the National Animal Welfare Trust after one of our humans developed an allergy.
We’re a friendly, chatty pair and although we’re not keen on being picked up, once we’re settled on your lap we like being made a fuss of. As we’re a bit nervous, we’ll need a confident owner who’ll be gentle when handling us. We love our food and will sing ‘the song of our people’ when it’s veggie time! We love being stroked and groomed with the soft brush.
Candy and Sandy
Hi! I’m Candy and this is my friend Sandy. We’re a pair of two-year-old girls looking for a home together as our owner could sadly no longer look after us.
Like most guinea pigs, we’re shy to begin with but, once we know you, we’re happy to be handled and will settle down on your lap. Sandy is very chatty and will remind you when it’s dinner time!
We love our food – especially cucumber and apple.
We’re all looking for a home with adults or families with children age 10+ where grown ups will do most the handling. We’ll need to live in a hutch indoors in the winter but we’d enjoy spending some time outdoors in a run when the weather’s warmer.
Call the NAWT on 020 8950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit!
