ARMED police have attended an "ongoing incident" near a school.
A passersby described seeing three police cars parked across the highway in Ditchling Road, Brighton.
This included one car containing armed officers.

A Sussex Police spokesman confirmed armed police had attended the "ongoing incident".
He said the armed officers had been stood down shortly after 6pm and there were no further details at this time on the nature of the incident.
An AA spokesman warned drivers in the area to expect disruption.
He said: "The road is partially blocked and there is slow traffic due to a police incident in Ditchling Road near Balfour Road.
"The police incident has occurred near Varndean School."
Shortly after 6.30pm Sussex Police said officers remained at the scene and there was no further information available at this time.
