FOLLOWING a weekend dominated by heavyweights, Dogs Trust West London’s heaviest dog in over five years, Bella the St Bernard, is looking for a new home.
Weighing in at 70kg, five-year old Bella, currently at the Harefield rehoming centre in Harvil Road, is the equivalent of eight dachshunds.
She was handed in after her owner died and is described as a gentle giant by her carers.
Rehoming centre manager Richard Moore said: “Bella is a gorgeous dog who just wants to smother you with love and would be a lap dog if it wasn’t for her size.
“Her confidence is growing with other dogs and, although she can be a bit excitable when she first meets them, she is a friendly girl.”
If you have room for Bella in your heart (and home), call the centre on 01895 453930 or visit dogstrust.org.uk
