A HAYES woman has pleaded guilty to two terrorism offences today (21) at the Old Bailey.

Safiyya Shaikh, 36, admitted one count of preparing terrorist acts by making contact with a person she believed could assist in preparing explosives, as well as earmarking St Paul’s Cathedral and a hotel as potential targets.

She also pleaded guilty to one count of dissemination of terrorist publications.

Shaikh was remanded in custody, ahead of sentencing at the Old Bailey on May 11.
