A TOTAL of 57 affordable homes are to be built at Perivale by housing provider A2Dominion.

It has planning permission from Ealing Council for the development, beside the Western Avenue on the site of a former diner.

Of the 57 new homes, 29 will be earmarked as London Affordable Rent and the remainder shared ownership, helping first-time buyers on to the property ladder.

Construction has already started, with completion expected in March 2022.

Danny Lynch, Director of Land and Development at A2Dominion, said: “It will help to bring back to life a key site in Perivale that has remained unoccupied for some time.

“Schemes like this are made possible through our commitment to reinvest all of our profits back into providing affordable housing.”

The site has been vacant for a significant time and has been blighted by repeated fly tipping

It is a short walk to Perivale LT station and is also close to sports grounds and green spaces.

A2Dominion currently manages 3,500 properties cross Ealing. It has further plans to build 980 new homes in the borough over the next four years.
