See the likeness: enterprising young students produced this caricature of their heroes
MORE than 70 young fans met their footballing heroes on Tuesday (18) when they took part in Brentford FC’s annual Meet the Players event at Uxbridge High School.
The event, run by Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, allowed students to showcase their football skills to the likes of Brentford forwards Ollie Watkins and Bryan Mbeumo.
Along with an inter-active football session with 13 players, the young fans had the unique opportunity to chat to players and take selfies.
Midfielder Christian Norgaard said: “We have all been their age and we all know what it does when professional footballers visit: it makes their day.”
