A WEEK of arts performance and cinema screenings will light up Ealing and the University of West London this month with the return of the borough’s annual celebration of music and film.

Ealing Music and Film Festival  from February 12-16 will bring together local performers and world-class musicians and artists.

Now in its eighth year, the festival will focus on education and on inspiring a new generation of talent in the creative industries as it continues to build on Ealing’s cultural and music heritage.

Highlights for 2020 include major concerts by Tenebrae, Ealing Youth Orchestra with saxophone soloist Rob Burton and Ealing Symphony Orchestra.

Community choir Love2sing will perform classical and contemporary songs, while film screenings include The Who's Tommy and Brief Encounter.

Organised and supported by Ealing residents and businesses, the festival supports young musicians and artists, with all profits invested back into local projects, scholarships and outreach activities.
