Police are investigating a robbery in Watford High Street.
On New Year's Eve at around 10.30am, an iPhone XR was stolen from a person in the town centre.
It is alleged that the robber had a knife on them, although a weapon was never seen.
Ian Blackledge, who is investigating the incident, has now released a CCTV image of a man he would like to trace as part of his enquiries.
He said: "We’d like to speak to the man pictured, as we believe that he may have been in the High Street around the same time, and might be able to help us with our investigation. If you recognise him, please get in touch.
"Alternatively, if you were in the area at the time, and believe you may have witnessed the incident or seen someone behaving suspiciously, please let us know."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Blackledge directly via email at ian.blackledge@herts.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting reference 41/116919/19 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.
