CONSULTATION has begun between Transport for London and people in Acton over plans for new homes in Bollo Lane.

TfL wants to build 875 homes, with half of them affordable. A spokesman said: “Our proposals have been designed to reflect the site’s surroundings and the thoughts of the local community.

“As well as new homes, they include delivering new space for shops, green areas, play spaces and footpaths to make walking safer and easier.”

TfL has delivered an invitation leaflet to around 8,500 homes as well as emailing around 32,000 people, who regularly use Acton Town station, about the consultation.
