A man posing to be a police officer has been suspiciously knocking on house doors.
Households around Roxbourne, South Harrow, have seen a man wearing a ‘police style vest’ knocking on their front doors on January 3 at around 7.30pm.
Roxbbourne Police (@MPSRoxbourne) issued a warning of the man and described him as: “Wearing a ‘Police’ style vest, a hi-vis jacket, camouflage trousers and a hoodie with a cap on.”
Police also described his height as 6ft 2, aged in his 30’s, with a moustache and a beard.

It is unclear what his intentions were, but under Section 90 of the 1996 Police Act, impersonation of an officer with the intent to deceive can face conviction.
