TEN sixth-form students from Notting Hill & Ealing High School will be dancing for ten hours tomorrow (11) from 2.30pm into the night.
They aim to raise money to help buy a school bus for a school in Kenya as part of a developing relationship with The Mango Tree charity.
The 10-hour Danceathon will support a school near Nairobi, which is currently under construction. It is one of the poorest areas in the region and suffers from high levels of HIV.
The Notting Hill & Ealing team will also be visiting the school next summer once is it built. They will spend two weeks running lessons and activities with the students.
Fund-raising began at the Cleveland Road school’s Christmas bazaar at the weekend, with £500 collected through the sale of cakes and sustainable items.
The team’s efforts can be followed via Twitter (@nhehsmangotree) and supported through this justgiving page:
