A teenage boy who was shot is in a stable condition in hospital, police have said.
The 17-year-old had been fighting for his life after he was found suffering a gunshot injury in Green Lanes in Haringey last night (Wednesday, December 4) at 11.15pm
But police say the boy is now in a stable condition in hospital and his condition it not life-threatening.
Detectives investigating the shooting are appealing for anyone with information or footage of the incident to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Mark Attridge said: “It is vital that we apprehend the person, or persons responsible for this shooting and remove the gun from within the community. If you have information please do call without delay.
“Make the call, help us make your London safer.”
Officers from Trident are investigating. No arrests have been made.
