THE victim of a fatal West Ealing stabbing in the early hours of Sunday morning has been named.
Police were called at 01.18hrs to reports of an injured man outside West Ealing station in Drayton Green Road.
A 26-year-old man, now formally identified as Mehran Heydari, was found in a vehicle suffering from a stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe Mehran was injured in an altercation in The Avenue, just 100 metres from the railway station where the Mini he was driving crashed.
Det Chief Insp Neil John said: “Another young life ended, another family devastated. The location is a busy area where people were out to eat and shop.
“If you were in the area, you may have seen something, or perhaps you took pictures or video around the time of the incident. Was there anything suspicious going on in the background?
