Two held after woman reports she was raped in Perivale Park
POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman reported she was raped in Greenford.
Officers were called at around 7am today (3) to reports of a woman with injuries in Costons Avenue.
An ambulance crew also attended and the woman, in her 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment.
She said she had been raped by two men in Perivale Park.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of rape and are in custody.
Anyone who saw or heard anything in the vicinity of Costons Avenue, Betham Road or the adjoining park during the early hours is asked to call police via 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD1873/3Nov.
