A CINEMA, live music venue and climbing wall are coming to Hayes.
They will be based at the Old Vinyl Factory, once the site of the EMI factory.
Really Local Group has signed a deal to provide a three-screen boutique cinema in the former Pressing Plant building, as well as a live music venue, community spaces, café and bar and an EMI exhibition space.
Regeneration specialists U+I will sell the Pressing Plant to RLG, who will transform the building into a new cultural hub, called The Gramophone, in 2021.

The exhibition is in partnership with the EMI Archive Trust, celebrating the site’s history as a key part of the global music trade.
Meanwhile, The Nest, a start-up operator of indoor climbing and bouldering walls, has taken space in the Material Store. It opened this month.
Since acquiring the 17-acre Old Vinyl Factory site in 2011, U+I has driven development through a series of partnerships.
The site will feature more than 700 homes.
