A LEADING figure in the hospitality industry has praised the sector’s role in transforming Ealing Broadway.

Kate Nicholls, CEO of UK Hospitality, was speaking at a public lecture at the University of West London.

Addressing residents, students and industry professionals, she spoke of the power to transform communities and highlighted the role of restaurants, bars and coffee shops in the Broadway area.

She predicted significant growth in the sector over the next decade and called on the Government to harness it to tackle alienation in rural and seaside communities.
