STUDENTS at the Global Academy in Hayes were joined by TV and music star Richard Wisker to share his experience and advice to sixth-formers aspiring to work in the creative industry.
Actor, presenter and musician Richard, best known for his role as Liam O’Donovan in the CBBC series Tracey Beaker Returns, visited the radio, TV and podcast studios housed in this unique.
The school was founded by the Media and Entertainment group Global, home to radio stations Capital FM, Heart and Classic FM.
Jonty Archibald, principal of Global Academy, said: “Our students are prepared for a career in the creative media industry by getting first-hand access to media personalities like Richard, who are at the top of the game.”
Global Academy, based at the Old Vinyl Factory, is recruiting students with a passion for media for Year 10 or Year 12 in September 2020.
