AHEAD of Halloween tomorrow, kids from Harrow spent Saturday carving scary faces into pumpkins.
The children, who are all members of the Woodchip section Harrow Woodcraft Folk, an organisation similar to the scouts, spent a morning slicing up the vegetables at Blackwell Hall, in Uxbridge Road, Stanmore.
The kids, all aged six or under, then took part in a pumpkin night walk in Ruislip Woods.
Armed only with flasks of hot drinks, snacks and of course their blazing jack-o-lanterns, the group braved spooky sounds and scary shadows, for an early taste of Halloween
