DEAR Zoo Live on Stage, the adaptation of Rod Campbell’s best-selling children’s book, is coming to the Beck Theatre in Hayes next month.
The tour started in 2018 but was struck by disaster this year when the tour bus was stolen, along with the stage set and costumes.
Thanks to insurance money and an anonymous donation, itis back on the road and heading for Hayes on November 4-5.
Chris Davis of Norwell Lapley Productions, said: “Support for the show has been amazing and the sympathetic response from the public quite overwhelming. Tour dates for the autumn had been in doubt as we were not sure if we would be able to cover costs following the theft of the tour bus.”
