CHILDREN from Berrymede Junior School celebrated Bike to School Week by designing suggested cycle routes around Acton Gardens, the former South Acton estate.
The school is part of the development by Countryside and L&Q.
Five designs were shortlisted for their creativity and the pupils presented with book vouchers.
Acton Gardens is creating more than 3,400 new homes and community areas on the 52-acre site in an 18-year project.
Mike Woolliscroft, MD of Partnerships South (West) for Countryside, said: “We are confident we can go away and ensure these designs influence the way in which Acton Gardens develops and support the cycling community.”
