Taxi drivers, companies and passengers have been urged to give their views on proposals affecting passenger safety, customer service and the environment.
Watford Borough Council has proposed an updated vehicle licensing policy to shape the quality of service in the town.
The draft policy builds on four objectives; the safety and welfare of the public and drivers, enhancing customer service, encouraging environmental sustainability and ensuring efficient and effective taxi and private hire provision.
Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “We’d like to know your views on the vehicle licensing policy, so I hope that everyone will complete the survey to have their say.
“We are committed to making sure that we have a licensing policy that works for drivers and passengers in our town.”
The consultation runs until October 1. Anyone affected can complete the survey at
