IF you’d like to see behind-the scenes, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is holding its annual open day from 11am-2.30pm this Saturday, July 27, at Ealing Hospital.
Visitors can have guided tours of the emergency department, endoscopy, radiology, pharmacy, Meadow House Hospice and its gardens. There will be live music and a children’s zone.
Get your blood pressure checked and find out more about adopting a healthier lifestyle, as well as chatting to 60 stall holders from organ donation and cancer awareness to ophthalmology and Ealing Clinical Commissioning Group.
Consultants, surgeons, doctors and nurses will be on hand to chat, as well as the police, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade.
Highlights include Indian Dhol drummers, face painting, balloon modelling and magic.
Chief Executive Dame Jacqueline Docherty said: “Ealing Hospital celebrates its 40th birthday this year, so it’s fitting that our open day will be held there.”
