A performing arts student from St Albans features in a television advert which has been broadcast on our screens all around country.

Daisy Turner, 13, appears in Dulux's 'Promises' ad, playing the role of a young girl on a sleepover when her mother walks in and tells her its time for bed. Daisy quite abruptly replies 'promise' before turning her eyes back to the laptop.

Daisy is a student at St Albans dance school Make Believe, based at Cunningham Hill Infant School, since September 2018. In January, he budding actor was snapped up by MB Talent and she was quickly cast on Dulux's new campaign.

She said: "It was really exciting starring in the advert and being on set, I really have the bug for it no."

Her mother, Donna, added: "Daisy lives and breathes performing so for her to get her first ever casting was a dream come true. I’m so proud of her and with such a level headed attitude I’m sure she will achieve all her dreams."

Talent agent, Eilidh McCole said: "Daisy is a true talent, very hardworking and has a lot of passion for performing. She had only been signed to MB Talent for a few months before she bagged the campaign and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year will bring for her."
