Over the rainbow: Care UK staff in London for the Pride march
TWO Hillingdon care homes showed their rainbow colours when team members paraded through the capital in support of London Pride.
More than 30 Care UK staff from homes in and around the capital, including The Burroughs care home in West Drayton and Whitby Dene in Eastcote, were in the parade.
Eileen Coyle-Jones, regional director for Care UK in West London, said: “We are committed to promoting an open, welcoming environment and an equality of opportunity for all, from residents and team members to job applicants and visitors.”
The Burroughs and Whitby Dene provide full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
