ORGANISERS of the Ealing Half Marathon have partnered with Plogolution for an event at Cuckoo Park, Hanwell, on Saturday, August 3.
The latest fitness craze of ‘plogging’ involves running and picking up rubbish at the same time. It brings people together in a common cause, tidies up the area and promotes healthy living.
Plogolution in Cuckoo Park takes place at 1pm and offers a 5K run or 2K walk option, so participants can run or walk the distance that suits them best.
Entry is free and everyone receives a Plogolution T-shirt. The meeting point is in front of Hanwell Community Centre and all equipment is provided.
The eighth running of the Ealing Half Marathon takes place on September 29 and a total of 7,000 people from 25 countries are set to take on the 13.1-mile route.
Plogolutionregistration is open here.
