THE countdown has started to the Race for Life event at Hillingdon House Farm Sports Ground, with just eight days left until the big day.
This year, for the first time, Cancer Research UK is inviting everyone – men, women and children – to join the Race for Life on Saturday, July 13.
Hundreds of like-minded people will join together and remember loved ones lost to cancer or celebrate the lives of those who have survived cancer in the 5k event.
You still have the chance to join them by registering now at raceforlife.org or by calling 0300 123 0770.
Race for Life is a series of 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy and Pretty Muddy Kids events.
Brenda Scott, event manager for Race for Life in Hillingdon, said: “We’re making a final call to the people of Hillingdon to sign up today, as their participation and contribution is so important.”
