A GROUP of 32 volunteers from the Greenford McDonald’s restaurant, Greenford and District Scouts and the 3rd Perivale Scout Group joined forces to pick up litter.
It was part of the national Great British Spring Clean campaign, run by Keep Britain Tidy.
McDonald’s has supported the campaign since it launched in 2016.
The group collected an impressive 11 bags of litter and afterwards McDonald’s provided food for the volunteers.
Franchisee John King, who owns and operates the restaurant in Greenford, said: “McDonald’s has been collecting litter in our communities for more than 35 years, and I’m proud of our litter fighting heritage.”
