IMPACT Theatre put on its annual production, Doras Draiochta (The Magic Door), at its Community Arts Centre in Perivale this week.
The show featured puppets, sets and projections all made by IMPACT’s learning disabled members.
Sixty of them shared the stage and were supported backstage by qualified staff.
Artistic director Kim Mughan said: “An original script, music and dance, along with our new skills in puppetry, made this show a true inspiration.”
IMPACT Theatre is a charity working with the learning disabled through performing and creative arts. Last year, it received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
