THE Rua, described as a British-Irish band, have landed the support slot on Westlife’s current 30-date UK tour.

Former X Factor Judge and pop music guru Louis Walsh says they’re ones to watch in the coming years.

Roseanna, Alanna and Jonathan Brown, who make up the group, are originally from Uxbridge but now living in Windsor.

Despite being born in the UK, they have Celtic blood flowing through their veins with Irish grandparents.

Roseanna (lead vocals, guitar), Alanna (piano, vocals) and Jonathan (violin, vocals, guitar), are described by Billboard magazine as a mix of Taylor Swift, The Corrs and the Cranberries.

The Westlife tour entails 30 performances at arena venues, including the 02 in London.
