On fire: chariot racers from a previous event
STAFF at pubs in Uxbridge and Acton are competing to raise the most for Cancer Research UK, to help them win a place in a Spartan chariot cycling race in London on June 20.
The Metropolitan and the Coach and Horses pubs in Uxbridge and The Belvedere in Acton are among 114 pubs in Stonegate Pub Company’s southern region taking part.
Teams are coming up with imaginative ways to encourage customers and the community to get involved and donate, either in collection buckets in the pub, or online at: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/spartan-giving-page-1098
The Stonegate Spartan Chariot Race for Cancer Research will commence at noon at The Minories, London EC3.
