DAVID Yarrow was elected as the new Mayor of Hillingdon at the council’s annual meeting last night (9), replacing the retiring John Morgan.

Cllr Yarrow, elected for the second time as mayor, will have Mary O’Connor as mayoress.

Their busy schedule, through to next May, will involve visits to community events, performances and exhibitions, and they will welcome schools and groups to the mayor’s parlour and council chamber.
