Google is today bringing its Google Digital Garage to Ealing, offering local people free advice and coaching on digital skills to help grow their business, career and confidence.

The tour is in partnership with the Evening Standard as part of their Future London campaign in a bid to up-skill London in digital skills.

The Google Digital Garage bus is a mobile training hub with expert trainers and mentors on board, set to visit ten London locations before Christmas to deliver free digital skills training to local communities and businesses.

The bespoke training courses offered in Ealing will include social media strategy, getting your business visible online with Google, know your business with data and CV building.

Free face-to-face coaching on a 1:1 basis will be offered for people with any level of experience; from advice on taking the first steps online, to building your personal brand online.

Ronan Harris, Managing Director Google UK, commented: “We’re thrilled to bring the Google Digital Garage and, for the first time, offer free digital skills training to Londoners and businesses right here in the capital and specifically those in Ealing.

Rupa Huq, MP for Ealing Central and Acton, said: “We’re very excited to welcome the Google Digital Garage at Ealing Town Hall.

"Digital skills are increasingly important in modern day, and the Google Digital Garage bus helps to provide people with the skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential.

"Google are providing a great opportunity and I have no doubt the local community will take full advantage”

The Google Digital Garage Bus will be parked at Ealing Town Hall Forecourt, W5 2BY on Friday December 7th, from 10am - 3:30pm. Visitors can either book in advance or simply drop by for on-the-spot help. For more information, or to sign up to a session, visit: g.co/digitalgaragebus
