FORTY Girl Guides from across Middlesex South West region received Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Awards at the Watermans Theatre, Brentford, on Tuesday.
Winners aged 11-25 received medallions to go with a framed certificate and a cheque for £250 each, already presented. They were nominated by their peers and leaders.
Guide companies in Middlesex South West have received funding of £39,658 from the Petchey Foundation since funding started in 2011.
Winners included Victoria Pinfield, 14, who attends 6th Northolt Guides. She has been in Guiding since she joined as a Rainbowand is currently working towards becoming a Ranger.

Victoria is a talented dancer and treated the audience to two performances on the night. Shedecided to spend her £250 grant on transport for a guide trip.
Nicole Bartlett, 11, who attends 4th Northolt Guides, is also a big help to the Brownies with activities and challenges for them to take part in.
She has not missed a single session despite her busy schedule with secondary school and cross country commitments. She is spending her £250 grant on new equipment.
