ACTON Gardens, one of London’s largest regeneration schemes, was highly commended at the Ealing Civic Society Awards.
The recognition is for three phases of the work, involving 347 new homes, a park and supermarket.
Acton Gardens, which aims to transform an area of South Acton with 2,500 new homes, is a partnership between Countryside, L&Q and Ealing Council.
The redevelopment is across 11 phases and began in 2011. When complete in 2026, it will provide 50% affordable and 25% family homes plus features like new Oaktree Community Centre in Central Square.
