POLICE have arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was discovered in Acton early this morning.
Police were called to an address in Perryn Road, understood to be a supported living service for vulnerable people, at 6.40am.
A woman in her 30s, whom police believe to be a member of staff, was pronounced dead at the scene by the London Ambulance Service.
Metropolitan Police arrested a man in Ealing this afternoon. The suspect remains in custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Partridge, of Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: “We are the very early stages of this murder investigation.”
The woman’s next of kin have been informed of her death, though formal identification and a post mortem are yet to take place.
