CONSERVATIVE Fabio Conti has won the Northfield ward by-election for a seat on Ealing Council.

He joins colleagues David Millican and Theresa Mullins as the third Conservative representative for the ward.

The result was tight, with Mr Conti winning by 120 votes from Anita Macdonald, of Labour.

Bruni de la Motte (Green Party) 751

Joanna Louise Dugdale (Lib-Dem) 570

Bob Little (UKIP) 262

The by-election was called in March when Conservative Mark Reen resigned, citing changes in his work commitments as the reason.
