YOUNGSTERS from Ealing will get the opportunity to take part in Kids Survival Day Courses hosted by the Bear Grylls Academy over Easter.
The courses, run in partnership with Fit For Sport, will take place from Monday, April 7 at the Brentham Club in Meadvale Road.
Designed to give those aged 9-14 an insight into Bear’s extreme survival techniques, they were developed by Bear and his team of experts.
Team exercises include learning how to build a fire, navigate in the wilderness and build a shelter. It is hoped the courses will inspire the next generation of adventurers.
Bear Grylls, who learned his skills with the British Reserve Special Forces, is a familiar figure in the TV series Man vs. Wild and Born Survivor.
He said: “As a father of three young boys I love sharing my survival techniques and watching them set off on their adventures together."
