A STRICTLY Come Dancing tour will waltz across the UK in 2022 - stopping off at two Buckinghamshire theatres to delight fans.

Strictly Presents: The Power of Dance was due to visit venues in June 2021 but due to ongoing theatre closures, the tour has been rescheduled for opening in June 2022 instead.

Casting for the dazzling live shows has not yet been announced, but the tour will be directed and choreographed by former Strictly professional dancer Trent Whiddon and his wife and dance partner Gordana Grandosek.

The show will give each of the incredible performers the opportunity to share with audiences what it is to be a dancer via stunning choreography and beautiful storytelling.

This tour will open in Tunbridge Wells on June 22, 2022, before playing Basingstoke, Cambridge, Halifax, Wolverhampton, Northampton, Grimsby, New Brighton, Stockton, Aberdeen, Dundee, Llandudno, Leicester, Croydon, Bath, Eastbourne, Canterbury, Warrington, Bridlington, Carlisle, Southend, Poole, High Wycombe’s Swab on July 20, Aylesbury on July 21, and then Torquay.

The Strictly Come Dancing Live Arena Tour, directed by judge Craig Revel Horwood, will also be returning in 2022 at major venues across the UK.

It will kick off in Birmingham on January 20 next year with a host of the celebrity and professional dancers from the show taking to the floor for 33 shows in Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, Nottingham and London.

But if you can’t wait until July 2022 to get your dose of live Strictly fever, there are plenty of other shows scheduled for the Wycombe Swan before then.

March 22, 2022, will see Karen Hauer and Gorka Marquez star in Firedance, featuring hot pulsing beats, seductive choreography and passion with live Latin musicians and a dance ensemble.

It will feature iconic songs including - In the Air Tonight, Sway, Bad Romance, Sweet Dreams, Relight My Fire, Bamboleo and many more.

Star judge Craig Revel Horwood will also be taking to the road with his debut solo tour on April 28, 2022.

He will talk about his life from Australia to the West End to Strictly, will share a wealth of backstage gossip with his trademark wit and candour, and will give a very special performance of some of the music which has been the soundtrack to his career.

The King of Ballroom Anton Du Beke will provide a fun-filled evening of song, dance and showbiz gossip at the Swan on May 21, 2022.

He will discuss his career alongside performances from guest vocalist Lance Ellington.

And star dancer Oti Mabuse will bring I Am Here, a whirlwind celebration of her influences and inspirations to the Swan on June 10, 2022.
