Love Island stars Molly Smith and Tom Clare have married.

The couple made the announcement on Thursday as they posted a photo on Instagram sharing a kiss, with confetti thrown around them.

Smith, 32, wore a white, short-sleeved mini dress with a pillbox hat and Clare, 26, wore a black suit and tie for the ceremony.

She captioned the photo: “Just married” with a ring emoji.

A second photo showed the couple revealing their wedding rings and was captioned: “Husband and wife”.

The pair met on Love Island: All Stars in early 2024, where they won the series and the £50,000 prize.

Smith, a model from Manchester, originally took part in series six, while Clare, a semi-professional footballer from Barnsley, was a contestant on series nine.

They received well wishes from fellow Love Islander Lucinda Strafford and former The Only Way Is Essex star Jess Wright, who both wrote: “Congratulations”.

The couple got engaged after Clare proposed during a candlelit evening on the beach in Dubai in September last year.

Clare previously told The Sun their wedding would be an “intimate” gathering.

He said: “I just want people at our wedding that I care about and that care about me and that I can ring and I know they’ll be there.

“They’re the only people I want there.

“So yeah, it’s going to be an intimate wedding, but it’s going to be a big celebration.”

He also said fellow Love Island star Casey O’Gorman would serve as best man after they became close friends during series nine of the ITV show.

Before their wedding, Clare had his stag do in Las Vegas while Smith enjoyed her hen party in Ibiza.
