This charming period home with bundles of character is located just a stroll away from the town centre near to all 3 mainline stations & close to local schools. Downstairs, there are two spacious reception rooms, ideal for family life. You'll look forward to curling up on the sofa in front of the telly with the family in the lounge as light floods the room through the bay window. If entertaining is more your style, the dining room is ideal as it opens up onto the kitchen - making socialising a breeze and also means you can keep an eye on the kids during homework time whilst dinner bubbles away on the stove. The kitchen itself is both spacious and stylish as well as being incredibly light and airy. You can also throw open the door to the garden from here and dine al fresco on the patio when the mood takes you. On the first floor, there's plenty of room for guests to stay for the night as there are two good sized bedrooms and a stylish family bathroom. The addition of the loft conversion means you could have yourself some peace and quiet up there with your very own walk in shower to enjoy too. There's also plenty of storage in the eves for your ultimate convenience. Outside, the rear garden has been beautifully re-designed and now offers an Indian sandstone patio to relax on as well as plenty of additional room on the lawn to soak up some sunshine or just get your fingers green. You also can't help to notice how quiet it is - despite the convenience of being right in the centre of town. What the Owner says:

I bought this house over 10 years ago as I loved the size and location. I also really liked the character it offered and the period features. As someone that has always commuted into London a lot, the distance to stations is superb and I often get the bus to Morden and hop straight onto the Northern Line. Despite the convenient location, it's incredibly quiet living here and I often sit out in the garden and feel like I'm in the country somewhere - it's honestly that peaceful! Since living here, I have landscaped the garden, installed a new damp course, replaced the boiler and had new flooring throughout. I also re-tiled the kitchen and re-decorated every room. I have been very happy here for 10 years but it's time for a change now.Room sizes:Entrance HallLounge: 12'6 x 11'8 (3.81m x 3.56m)Dining Room: 11'8 x 11'5 (3.56m x 3.48m)Kitchen: 11'5 x 7'4 (3.48m x 2.24m)LandingBedroom 2: 11'6 x 8'2 (3.51m x 2.49m)Bedroom 3: 11'8 x 7'10 (3.56m x 2.39m)Bathroom: 7'8 x 7'4 (2.34m x 2.24m)Bedroom 1: 19'1 x 11'5 (5.82m x 3.48m)Rear Garden
