LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW SECTION 16A ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984. TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS FOR A RELIGIOUS PROCESSION THE COUNCIL OF LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they have made an order under the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which shall temporarily introduce road closures in the roads listed below to allow a religious procession to take place.
The route of the procession is to take Honeypot Lane northbound from its junction with Kenton Road to its junction with Wemborough Road. The procession will turn left into Wemborough Road, right into Abercorn Road, up Old Church Lane, right into Church Road, left into Stanmore Hill, and right into Wood Lane.

1. This order shall come into operation at 11:00 hours on 25th June 2017 and will remain in effect until the completion of the Religious Procession or 17:00 hours on 25th June 2017, whichever is the sooner.

2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Westfield Lane so as to head in a southbound direction, from any side road, adjoining access road or property, between its junction with Kenton Road, until the procession has passed that point

3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Kenton Road so as to head in a eastbound direction, from any side road, adjoining access road or property, between its junction with Honeypot Lane, until the procession has passed that point.

4. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Honeypot Lane so as to head in a northbound direction, from any side road, adjoining access road or property, between its junction with Kenton Road, until the procession has passed that point.

5. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Marsh Lane so as to head in a northbound direction, from any side road, adjoining access road or property, between its junction with Honeypot Lane and The Broadway, Stanmore, until the procession has passed that point.

6. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter The Broadway, Stanmore so as to head in an westbound direction, from any side road, adjoining access road or property, between its junction with Marsh Lane and Stanmore Hill, until the procession has passed that point.

7. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Stanmore Hill so as to head in a northbound direction, from any side road, adjoining access road or property, between its junction with The Broadway, Stanmore and Wood Lane, until the procession has passed that point.

8. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter Wood Lane, between its junction with Stanmore Hill and Warren Lane.

9. Nothing in Article 2 to 8 of this order shall apply toi­ls) any vehicle being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police
purposes in an emergency;

(b) anything done at the direction of a police constable in uniform or with the permission of a civil enforcement officer;
(c) any person who causes any vehicle to proceed in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed pursuant to Section 66 or Section 67 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984;
(d) any vehicles being used in an official capacity in connection with the procession.

10. The provisions of this order will not have effect unless all the signs in accordance with the provisions of the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 (b) are displayed, removed or covered where applicable.
